Yep is a surf engine that lists web sites based on quality and popularity. This engine appears to list only sites that are registered with it which means it has a relatively small database of websites compared to most search engines. Yep has one of the worst search capabilities I've ever seen. It returns results that seem to be totally unrelated to the search entered. The distorted and incorrect search results are probably caused by the fact that they sell a service called Hitbox Site Analyzer with the promise of higher search listings. This, of course, calls into question the validity and credibility of their rankings by quality and popularity. I think not. They also have a directory of categories listed on their page. This isn't a real directory but simply predefined searches based on the relevant key words. The portal search page is cluttered with ads that significantly slow loading it.
