The RealNames Internet Keywords Service is a means of navigation, designed to take you directly to where you want to go on the web. The RealNames Internet Keywords Service was developed by RealNames Corporation. The aim is to improve Internet navigation by using memorable words and phrases in any language in place of complex URLs. So for example, instead of typing http://www.barnesandnoble.com, you can simply type Barnes & Noble to be delivered to that website. No http://, no .com, just the company or brand name as it is already known, advertised and recognized. There is a FAQ on the service. Realname Internet keywords cost $100 per year if you subscribe.
